Not a question, just a comment on a quention you asked on X about why we can't see distant cities, there are some limiting factors: perspective, and the opacity of the medium (the air contains humidity, dust, and pollution). When you dive into a pool, the water, although seemingly crystal clear, has impurities that prevent you from seeing long distances, correct? The same applies to the air, as it is full of humidity, pollution, and dust. Another crucial factor is perspective. When something is really far away, it looks much smaller to your eyes. This is because of something called angular size (basically, how much space the object takes up in your field of view. The farther away it is, the smaller that space gets. Your eyes also have a limit on how much detail they can see. This limit is called visual acuity. If an object becomes too tiny in your view (because it's far away), it falls below that limit, and you can't make out the details anymore; it might look like a blurry dot or disappear completely). There are other optical factors, such as distortion due to optical phenomena caused by atmospheric pressure and temperature gradients. Have a nice day and keep your mind open to serious people arguing for a non-globe model. I strongly suggest you David Weiss, Rob Skiba and Eric Dubai (or Dubay). I'm sending here because X can be a bit passionate/contentious place, with a lot of bots.

I thought about deleting this or was gonna continue ignoring this question. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for being open minded on things. Yet, when it comes to the crowd of people that think the world is flat. I struggle to wrap my head around on why they think this. Before you think, I've never read or heard anything the backs it up. You'd be wrong in thinking that. Few years back when I first heard that people actually think this a Flat Earth is real. I found it so fascinating and decided to look in to it to see if there's credible evidence that really proves it somehow. Cause I love binging stories & theories about aliens, monsters, cryptics, lovecraft horrors, an even stuff like Hollow Earth. Yet, everything I've seen & heard when it comes to Flat Earth theories genuinely puzzles me. It just doesn't make any sense, but I'd love to smoke what a lot of those people are smoking cause I thought I came up with some crazy stories growing up as a kid.
Not that I believe in the Hollow Earth but people are capable of some really strange theories. I'm sure many want to believe that the Artic Wall is some forbidden area that no one is allowed to go past. Thinking it's some conspiracy or a way to control people of the world. It's just the last region of the world that's been left untouched. There is a treaty that makes it illegal for any country to take full control over it. This treaty was signed in 1959, an was enforced in 1961. Establishing Antarctica as a scientific preserve, for freedom of scientific investigation. No military activity is allowed on the continent. 7 territories have made claims of the land; France, Argentina, Australia, United Kingdom, Chile, Norway & New Zealand. Anyone that wants to go explore certain parts of the continent must request access with whatever territory that has claims. I've heard it's an incredibly exhausting process just to get permission and even than the areas people are allowed is very limited. It's not some conspiracy that big government is wanting to control people. The continent is extremely dangerous to venture. It's the last bit of land on the Earth that hasn't been ruined by man, an even though a lot of territories would love to strip it of all it's valuable resources laying under the ice. It's a delicate ecosystem, that's why the treaty was created in the hopes to preserve it
