I'm glad you at least understand why the soap punishment is done instead of just dismissing it like I did before. It's not like there's no reason for it; it makes sense. And I bet you might change your mind about doing it if you have to take care of a kid who's being really bratty or disrespectful; thinking about that is a big part of why I changed my mind about it too.
yeah okay, i actually get what you mean now, i might have to try it if i ever end up taking care of a really bratty or disrespectful kid. being the type of person who feels bad saying no or being too harsh all the time is honestly hard too, because sometimes you have to be firm even when you don’t really want to. i’d probably feel terrible doing it, but i can see why you changed your mind about it, anyway what's should i call you?
