When did you decide to go from flannel to goth, or was the latter always in the background?
Growing up, i actually strongly desired to dress more alternative, but my latent gender dysphoria made me afraid to pursue such an aesthetic. I used flannel as a way to literally hide my body.
My recent style shift is because i feel more secure in my gender and in my body.
