hi just letting you know that the claimed prompt aren't synced between the two prompt lists (some are marked as claimed on one but not the other).
i think using only one prompt list would be sufficient to avoid confusion in the future

hi i'm so sorry if you've already said this and i missed it but do works need to complete by the submission deadline? like if the fic has chapters, do we need to submit it with all the chapters done? once again, sorry if you clarified this already, and tysm for putting together this sick fest :D
hello!!!! you don’t have to upload the completed work all at once! once the submission deadline comes, you have to have at least one chapter written! no problem at all if you’re going to upload the rest after the fest ends :) thank you for the question! :)

its really a shame you're putting your morals out like this. as adults we have a duty to protect minors. would you let them underage drink because YOU created a safe space? or do drugs? like come on
Enough. I said I would not answer anything about this topic anymore, but you are sending the worst shit here, and I need to put my foot down. What the fuck? Can you explain to me how the fuck using drugs and drinking as a minor relates to writing SFW sci-fi fanfiction? Stop saying I should be ashamed of trying to include everyone. I have already made a statement confirming that this fic fest is 18+. The 17-year-olds who claimed prompts will now only participate during our off-season, since by then, they will be 18. You are harassing me for a decision I ALREADY REVERSED AND APOLOGIZED FOR. If this keeps up, I will close this Revospring to stop the anonymous messages. This isn't fun anymore. I open this expecting legitimate questions or comments about the fest, and instead, I read people demanding my shame and withdrawing their support. I will not end this fest now because I appreciate the kind people who have sent supportive comments. If you do not like this fest or disagree with my management, then do not participate. Your comment was unfortunate, and the analogy was entirely flawed. As I stated, I already revoked the decision to let ONE SINGLE 17-YEAR-OLD who WILL TURN 18 THIS YEAR participate. I ALREADY SAID I AM SORRY. You do not need to keep dictating how I should act or think about an issue that is no longer happening. This fic fest is strictly 18+. Why are my morals suddenly the topic of conversation? You do not know me. I am managing this situation to the best of my ability. If you feel the need to offer criticism, I expect you to word it respectfully. End of conversation.

second concern is that you wont be removing prompts which have already been claimed and written in other fests if youre made aware of them "too late". I honestly think thats really messed up, im trying to understand your logic here. plagiarism is wrong, its unfair and cruel and if a prompt has already been claimed and written elsewhere, you should remove it from your prompt list regardless of when you notice it. i dont understand why you would refuse? it feels like you dont take plagiarism/writers seriously
I agree that plagiarism is unacceptable. I apologize for previously stating we would not remove plagiarized works; I realize that was the wrong call. It will take me some time to process these removals. Going forward, please send any reports directly to my DMs rather than Revospring. Between two jobs, my master's program, and this fest, my schedule is overwhelmed. I ask for your patience as I do my best to manage this.

hey, couple of concerns i'd like to raise. first is you allowing minors to participate in an 18+ fest. regardless of whether they turn 18 before the deadline, they are still a minor throughout the entire process? of prompting and writing, theyre still sharing a space with adults and adult content. I dont think its very respectful of anyones comfort and i also just dont understand why you care to accommodate minors so badly, if they cant participate then thats just how it goes, they arent owed this space
Okay guys, I think we are being harsh here. Are we saying they are not owed a space to write sci-fi? Look, I am sorry if this decision was not the best; next year we will improve, I promise. But please, let's not treat minors this way. Writing science fiction is not only for people over 18. I want to accommodate them because everyone deserves a place to write and share their work. I am not saying it is acceptable for them to write or engage with NSFW content. I hope you understand where I am coming from.

I feel you may have missed the point as to why it’s so important not to allow minors to participate in an adult fest that is heavily skewed towards nsfw content. There is a reason adults (nsfw fan content creators especially) are very specific about asking minors to NOT engage with their accounts or their works. By allowing them to participate you are inviting them into all other adult participants’ spaces. I really think moving forward with the decision to allow them this year is not a great decision.
Okay, thank you for your suggestion. I cannot back out now because it would be confusing. As I mentioned before, we will improve the age guidelines next year. We will not let minors claim NSFW prompts, they are free to claim the SFW prompts we have available
