what did i do to deserve all this love??? i didn’t know that something i made from my silly lil chaotic imagination could reach someone so deeply. twt & clock app have always been my outlets, my digital diary, a place where i dump whatever’s going on in my messy head. and yet somehow i’m really surprised that people find comfort in my words, sa mga pang-beginner edits ko, at sa iba’t ibang mundong ginawa ko. to think that i consider myself as someone who writes unserious and funny stories hehehe.

alam niyo, i never meant to heal hearts i didn’t break. but if my random creativity & unfiltered feelings can bring someone even some peace or happiness in their life then i guess that’s the most beautiful accident (accident?!) i ever did.

hello! this answer might be a bit long and i think some infos probably aren’t necessary na pero i just tend to ramble a bit kaya sorry na agad huhu ><

i’ve actually had several writing accs before na dedicated to diff fandoms (exo, svtvelvet, gotvelvet, nct) kaso i eventually stopped kasi narealize kong hindi ko pala kaya i-manage yung multiple accs ALL AT ONCE. and tbh, i lost the spark for writing na rin that time. then come 2023, i decided to return to writing again. and this current account actually started as a dump acc i created 4 years ago then winipe out ko lahat ng tweets tas i made it as my svt writing acc kasi i thought it might be worth giving it another shot hehehe ^^

as for gaining readers/followers, i’m not entirely sure myself tbh! i’m not super interactive here, wala akong irl friends, wala rin ako gaanong writer friends, wala rin akong beta reader. ako lang lahat. ako ang backbone ng acc na ‘to emz. soooo i was really surprised when my follower count started to grow lang last year like AS IN LAST YEAR LANG TALAGA. basta, i just posted, kept posting, dropping aus and ideas here and there whenever i felt like it (as what my bio says: updates depende sa mood) the engagement isn’t always consistent rin, it really depends talaga sa algorithm.

another thing is i started a tiktok account back in july 2023 and my joshua kapitbahay au blew up there. pero funny enough, even though i gained a lot of traction, most of the readers from that app didn’t actually follow me here sa twt. di ko rin alam if naka-help ba in general yung exposure ko roon.

if you’re thinking of starting a writing account, ang masasabi ko lang ay just go for it! don’t overthink the process. you don’t have to wait until you have the perfect idea or enough confidence to write what you want. basta start with what you have lang tapos let yourself grow along the way kasi kung di mo gagawin, kailan pa? even if only a few people read your work at first, kahit 10 likes pa yan, that’s already something. and most importantly, write for yourself.
