do all submissions need to be complete or it’s okay if it’s an ongoing fic or au?
it doesn’t have to be complete. but if in any case that you posted something and crossed off squares in advance, make sure the tropes would really be incorporated into the fic/au as you go on. ^^

if you’re referring to fanfics, no. you can write as little or as many words you like.
