I really loved 'Born for Another', couldn't stop crying for a while, my baby Jake deserves so much more than what he has gone through 🥹, my heart ached everytime he had to force a smile 💔 and I really hated his parents !! Glad he moved Out, and to sunghoon thank you for making him feel wanted, like his existence mattered.
I love how in-depth you write your characters, the way all your readers can connect with them and feel what they are feeling, the right amount of angst !!
Are you by any chance a med student ?? just got curious after reading the story, if not kudos to you for writing in detail about HLA matching and all the medical terminology. You're hands down the best or one of the best writers I've come across on this app, please continue to write for our jakehoon !! ❤️
Take your own time writing though, your stories are always worth the wait and take care of yourself too !! ❤️🩹❤️
Ahh, thank you so much for this 🥹 Jake really is my baby too, he deserves all the love this world can give, and that’s exactly why Sunghoon's role was so important in this story. Sunghoon wasn’t just there to be a love interest, I wrote him as the person who would show Jake what it feels like to be wanted, to be chosen for himself and not because of what he could give :(
and yes, cutting his parents off is the most realistic and most justified thing jake should do.
In every fic I write, I try to step into my characters' shoes as much as I can, to ask, "what would this feel like if it were real? If it were me?" I want them to feel human, even when some situations are heavy.
And no, I’m not a med student 😅 I actually just graduated from the College of Liberal Arts. But I did a lot of research and watched a ton of films/documentaries to make sure the medical parts are correct(I hope so)
