Oh no, that’s not what I meant at all 😭 When I said “easier to write,” I wasn’t downplaying the effort it takes to write canon-compliant fics, not at all. What I meant was, because what Jakehoon has is already so genuine and real, like we literally see it every day in how they treat each other, it makes the conceptualization for non-AU or canon-compliant fics feel more accessible to me personally.

But definitely NOT in the sense that the actual writing process is easy, I completely understand how challenging it is, from building ideas to capturing their real personalities and dealing with writer’s block and everything in between.
